Speed Torpedo Boat Does 50 m.p.h.
LATEST FRENCH ENGINE OF DESTRUCTION Received Friday, 11.30 p.m. LONDON, June 23. The Daily Mail 's Paris correspondent says’ the latest French war craft is manned by only four men, but carries seven torpedoes which can be discharged from any point. Though the method is not disclosed it is described as a kind of speed boat driven by two 1100 horsepower engines and its speed exceeds 50 miles an hour.
