Australian Sprinter in U.S.A.
EDDIE TOLAN NOT ANXIOUS TO MEET HIM. NEW YORK, June 22. The United States Amateur Athletic XJnion has informed the Press Association that efforts to arrange a race between the Australian sprinter, Robertson, and Eddie Tolan, the Olympic n,egro champion, thus far have failed. The latter is unwilling although the union is placing no obstacles in his way. Robertson is continuing and has issued a challenge to race anyone anywhere for a thousand dollars or more aside.
