“SUNSHINE SUSIE” AT THE REGENT.

GREAT BRITISH MUSICAL SUCCESS.

When undertaking to make “Sunshine Susie’ * British Dominions Films, Ltd., had the set idea of making this production not only the super picture which they had long planned, but essentially a British picture for British people. Recently there-has been .an influx of imported films which portray sentiments, customs and other things dear to other nations. These have possibly been entertaining but hardly interesting or idealistic to the British film goer, so how much more' enjoyable would a talkie attraction be that was entirely British? Such is “Sunshine ■Susie’’ at the Regent Theatre to-night. This picture will take Levin by storm. Never before in the history of the town has so much happiness descended all at once. “Sunshine Susie” from the very name alone exudes rays of sunshine which, when the film is shown, will become embedded in the hearts of all movie-goers who will definitely and decidedly clamour for more film entertainment along the same lines. Adorable Eenate Muller, England’s new sweetheart, occupies the stellar role and what a hit she is! Possessing entrancing beauty, a delightful voice and charming personality she will capture the hearts of all who see this picture. Ja,ck Hulbert is a newcomer who provides, many laughs with his 'fooling. The whole film is attractive entertainment, ingenious also because a musical comedy has been devised with only four principals, which goes at a pace dnd maintains an interest which is unusual to find in any film production. Many strikingly catchy numbers are «ung by the stars, amongst which arc “To-day I Feel So Happy,” the theme song, “I’ve Got an Aunt Eliza,” and “Just Because I Lost My Heart to You.”
