The Everest Expedition
Expedition Still in Preparatory Stages Received Friday, 8.15 p.m. CALCUTTA, May 19. There is no truth in the report cabled from India that an attempt to climb Everest had failed. The. expedition is still in the preparatory stages and no attempt to reach the top has yet been made.
