Proposals for Scheme of Research
IMPROVING WOOL QUALITY. CONFERENCE AT MASSEY COLLEGE NEXT' FRIDAY CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Important proposals for a natural scheme of research into the quality of New Zealand wool, with he object of bringing .about an improvement in the standard of exported produce, are to be placed before a Dominion conference of sheep breeders to be held at Massey Agricultural College on Friday. The Government has decided to support the big movement .decided upon by the sheepowners and the Minister for Agriculture (Hon. C. E. Macmillan) will represent the Government at the conference. The conference on Friday will be asked to decide whether a general scheme of research is desirable and possible and whether it would be possible to provide the necessary funds for this work.
