HIGHWAY WELLINGTON, Last Night. The police authorities are perplexed by a report that a numb 6! of torn, pound notes were found on the Wel-lington-Palmerston North main highway. As yet none have been reported missing. The notes are genuine and tiave not been .nncelled. The notes were torn in hfcd£.
