WEATHER CHANGEABLE TO SHOWERY. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Saturday. The anti-cyclone has moved to the north-eastward of the Dominion, The depression advancing across the Tasman Sea is already causing unsettled weathejr in the southern part of the South Island, where the barometers have fallen. A considerable depression is likely to cross New Zealand during to- “ night and to-morrow. The district forecast is for moderate to strong north-westerly winds, of gale force at times, in parts of the Straits, backing to southerlies by about Monday morning. Weather changeable and at times showery. Seas rough. LOCAL FORECAST. The indications are for northerly winds, moderate to strong. Weather cloudy to overcast. Some rain possible. Barometer falling slowly.
