DETTON BEATS WILSON WELLINGTON, Last Night. In an interesting wrestling match in the Town Hall, Dean Detton (13.5) defeated George Wilson (13.10) by two falls to none. Detton won the first fall ■with an aeroplane spin at the beginning .of the sixth round. The deciding fall came in the next when Detton jumped and scissored Wilson’s head as Wilson came at him with a flying tackle. Wilson fell and was easily pinned. Mamos Gets Decision Over Thompson INTERESTING AND SKILFUL BOUT CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The wrestling match between Harry Mamos, the Greek, and Texas Thompson, the American, resulted in a win for Mamos on the referee’s decision at the end of the full eight rounds. Mamos secured a fall in the fifth round and Thompson a submission fall in the seventh round. It was an interesting and skilful bout with Mamos superior all round.
