PUNE RAX. OF ME. B. P. PALMER ' AUCKLAND, Last Night. Evidence of identification only was given at the inquest into the death ot the All Black, B. P. Palmer, this morning. The inquest was then adjourned •pending the receipt of medical reports. Representatives of many Rugby c ues and other sports bodies attended the funeral which took place at Otahuhu this afternoon. The pall bearers were Messrs F: Solomon and Caughey (representing the All Blacks), Bighton and Lucas, of the Ponsonby Club (Palmer's former club), and Pearson and Short (representing the Otahuhu Club). "Wreaths were sent from every Rugby Union in New Zealand and every club '■‘■in Auckland. Telegrams were received by the Auckland Rugby Union from ; every union in the Dominion and from Mr. W. J. Wallace, manager of tne iad2 ( All Blacks in Australia, and Mr. J. A. McLeod,' manager of the 1929 • All Blacks in Australia. Mr. Palmer was a- member of both teams. ~ » ■
