CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES. "Man" was the subject of the Les-ion-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, (Scientist, on Sunday, 4th September. The golden text was from Isaiah 64: £. “Now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; we all are the. work of thy hand.’ ’ Among the citations which comprised the lesson-sermon were the following from the Bible: ‘‘So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and fepiale created he them.” “The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath fif the Almighty hath given me life. ” (Gen. 1:27. Job 33:4.|) The lessonsermon also included the following passages from the Christian Science text book, ‘ ‘ Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, ’’ by Mary Baker Eddy. “Importal man was and is God’s image .or idea, even the infinite expression of infinite Mind, and immortal man is coexistent and co-eternal with that Mind.” “The finite must yield to the infinite. Advancing to a higher plane of action, thought rises from the material sense to the spiritual, from the scholastic to the inspirational, and from the mortal to the immortal.”
