In the men’s semi-finals, Cochet beat Bernard, 6—l, 6—o, 6—4; and Stefani (beat Menzel, 6 —3, 2 6, 7 5, b "d. Mdlle. Mathieu led in the first set, but began to fall aiwiay, when the American found the length. Thereafter Mrs Wills-Moody had an easy task to gain the title for the fourth time.
