LANG’S INSURANCE BILL.
FEDERAL PROTECTION FOR COMPANIES’ SECURITIES.

(Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) CANBERRA, Feb 24 The Federal Attorney-General’ Mr Latham, has explained that, even if Premier Lang rushes his Insurance Bill through the State Parliament before the Federal measure becomes law he will be powerless to seize -securities rfrom the insurance companies. The Commonwealth Bill now before the Senrate specifically prevents any State from doing this, whether its Act is before or after the Federal one.
