Al Capone is Sure Worried!
FACING PROSPECT OF IMPRISONMENT Received Wednesday, 9.50 p.na. NEW YORK, Oct. 6. A 1 Capone, the bootlegger millionaire and gangster king, pleaded not guilty to the income tax evasion charges on which he was arrested in July. Journalists, after seeing him tremble •' while standing before the bar and Judge Wilkerson to-day, asked him. whether he was worried. .He put 3, piece, of candy in his mouth, chewed, vigorously for a momeht, and then said: “Who would not be worried? I do hot know if I will be acquitted. I am sure worried!” Capone last Saturday attended a university football match, surrounded by a bodyguard. The spectators, recognising him, booed, and he was compelled to leave before the conclusion of the game." ■
