Alteration of Rugby Rules
WELLINGTON, Last Night. Members of the New Zealand Rugby Union this evening again discussed various suggested alterations to the rules proposed by the. International Board. It was stated that 'the application of the rule -regarding the 2-3-2 scrummage was being considered by the English Rugby Union and a reply to the New Zealand Union’s cable was expected within the next few weeks. On receipt of that reply the question would again be. considered by the New Zealand Union, but in the meantime there was no official advice to act upon. It was decided to notify all affiliated unions accordingly.
