WEDDING AT PARAPARAUMU.

The wedding was solemnised recently in St. Paul's Church, Paraparaumu, of Constance, youngest daughter of Mr. f eter Wootton, and the late Mrs. Wootton, who was married to Mr. Charles Mowbray, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Mowbray. The bride, who . was escorted by her father, wore a long, graceful gown of white crepe de chine with satin trimmings, a net veil, caught on either side with orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet (made and presented by Mrs. H. A. Smith), of freesias and spring flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss' Violet Mowbray, sister of the bridegroonn wore a dress of primrose satin witn panne velvet hat and satin shoes to tone. She carried a bouquet of Iceland poppies and asparagus fern. The flower-girl was little Thelma Weggery, niece of the bride, who was dressed in forget-me-not blue satin and hat to match. The Rev. H. Wilson performed the ceremony. Afterwards a reception was held in the Anglican Hall, where Mr. Wootton, assisted by his daughter, Mrs. H. Weggery, who was dressed in fawn crepe dc chene and hat to match, received a. large number of guests, among those present being Mrs. C. Davies, aunt of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Pink, Levin, Mrs. Mowbray, the bridegroom's mother, Miss Gillespie, Wellington, Colonel and Mrs. .Petherick, Miss Petherick, and many others. The happy couple left by motor for the north, the bride travelling in beige silk dress with coat and hat en suite.
