BODY FOUND ON BEACH.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day.
The body of a man was recovered by the police on the seashore at Seatoun yesterday and identified as that of William George Pinhey, governing director of Men’s Wear Limited, Courtenay Place. Mr Pinhey had been missing since he left his home, in Dundas Street, Seatoun, during a power failure which occurred early in the evening of April 11th. Serious fears were immediately entertained for his safety. The body was identified by the clothing and effects which Mr Pinhev had on when he set out from his home. The wharf is about 500 or 600 yards from his house in Dundas Street.
