Auckland Easily Defeats Bush

PAHIATUA, Last Night. The Auckland tourers defeated Bush by 27 to 7 in a fast game. The conditions were ideal and the attendance large. Bush offered a stout resistance, although unable to held the best side owing to the lateness of the season. Auckland were superior in all departments, the Bush forwards, however, putting up a solid front. The visiting backs were too speedy, Berridge and Connelly marking particularly well. The score at half was 16—4. Tries for Auckland wore scored by Connelly, Solomon, Jones and Satherley, Corner converted two. Welland potted a great goal for Bush. In the second half tries for Auckland were scored by Connelly, Hadley and Finlayson, Bush converting one. Shilton scored for Bush. Mahoney carried on in the second half with a broken nose.' 5
