CHARGES AGAINST BOOTMAKER AND MERCHANT.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The hearing w’as\concluded to-day in the ease in which' A. H. Petersen, a bookmaker, aged 36, and Thomas Quin, a merchant, aged 35, are charged joinly with using premises as a common gaming house, and in which Peterson is further charged with laying “tote” odds. Decision was reserved.
