TRIANGULAR SHIELD CONTEST. The first round of. the Triangular Shield contest was played on the Levin green on Wednesday, when the four home rinks put up a good showing, winning their four games, and in some instances with a large margin of points. Light rain interfered with play at intervals throughout the afternoon, and towards the close, heavy rain fell, two of the games being finished under uncomfortable conditions.
