CAR DRIVER INJURED.

(By Telegraph -Press Association) TAUMARUNUI, This Day.

A car driven by Mr A. McKenzie, of Wellington, who was accompanied by. his wife, skidded at a bad spot on the Piriaka hill when en route to Wanganui yesterday', went over a steep bank and fell two hundred feet. McKenzie was hospitallcd with shock and injuries to ihe head, but is progressing satisfactorily. Mrs McKenzie is suffering from shock, but was not hospitallcd. The car was badly damaged.
