He will speak on ‘The Awards of the Life feav ing Society and How to Obtain-Them. The principal vocalists for lYA’s concert this evening will be the Celeste Trio presenting trios and solos, including excerpts from ‘The Cingalce The Studio Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Eric Waters, will provide instrumental music while Mr: T. T. Garland will be hoard in humorous items. Another interesting ‘Topical Talk’ will be given by Mr. A. B. Chappell, M.A. From 9.110 to 11 p.m. dance music will be presented. The Wellington Salvation Ann'.' Band, under the comluctorship of Mr. H. Scotney. will give a studio concert at 2YA, with the assistance oi the popular. Melodic Four, Mis. R. wright (soprano) and Miss Rose Carte (clocutioniste). The band items wir comprise selections from some o e great masters' as well as instrumental solo and other numbers of a less serious nature. Mr. H. L. Davton, secretary of tnc Canterburv Horticultural Society will speak at 3YA at 7.30 on ‘Now Zealand Native Plants,’ this being one of the lectures arranged by the 3Y\ Primary Productions Committee. 3YA h concert programme will delight lovers ot good music.
