RADIO NOTES. The programme at IYA this evening will be provided by the 'Cornet School' Orchestra under the baton of Mr. E. Patterson. Assisting the orchestra will be a number of artists new to IYA, including Mrs. J. Eraser, Miss E. Naughton, and Mr. W. Lucas. Other artists include Miss Phyllis Best and Mr. Heir-Yates.

The broadcast which 2YA will carjy out this -evening will be a treat to sill lovers of choral music. The final eon cert of the 1929 season of the Wanganui Choral Society is to be relayed from Wanganui. This choir, which sings under the conductor.ship of Mr. I'. 'Wcntworth Plater, A.R.C.6., is a famed combination. The programme which'has boon arranged will demon strata to the full the wonderful capabilities of this choir. A wide range of subjects has been chose, and the whole of the programme will be sung entirely from memory, neither the choir nor the conductor using written music. Tli;> support artists for the evening will i.»f Mrs. Wilfred Andrews (contralto), of Wellington and Mr. Claude N. Tucker (flautist). Mr. Horatio Nelson, A.T.C.L. The Dunedin Station will have a very bright, studio concert, to be followed at 9.30 by a dance mufiic session.
