Fruit Board Sells Forward in Europe
HOLLAND AND GERMANY Received Tuesday 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 2. The New Zealand Fruit Board has sold forward 82,000 cases of apples to Holland and 75,000 to Hamburg. Prices Equal to 7/2 and 8/2 on Kail x HASTINGS, Last Night. Thfi manager of Fruitgrowers' Federation at Hastings, says that it was known in New Zealand that sales forward of apples to Holland and Hamburg were in contemplation at prices ranging from 12/6 to 13/6 c.i.f., which was equal to from 7/2 to 8/2 on rail at Hastings. The deal reported in the abovo eable is an extension of the previous year's apple marketing in the countries named.
