Three Successive Fire Outbreaks in Blenheim

EMBERS COMPLETE DESTRUCTION BLENHEIM, Last Night. The Blenheim fire brigade had to answer three calls between midnight on Saturday and five o'clock yesterday morning. The first alarm was an outbreak in a live-roomed dwelling owned and occupied by Mr T. J. Satherlcy, of Eltham road. A good save was effected, but two hours later the building again burst into flames, the house and contents being almost totally destroyed. The insurance mi the house is £SOO, and on the contents £2OO. The third lire occurred in the busi-1 ne.?s section of the town, a building in Wynev street, owned by Mr 10. H. HoaJey, M.P., being partially gutted. The building was occupied by Mr James Gordon, as a tyre vulcanising and motor service station, and by Mr W. Satherly, a boot repairer. The insurance on the building is £250. Mr Gordon is covered by £2OO, and Mr Satherly by £IOO.
