REFERENCE TO LATE GOVERNMENT’S DELAY.

LONDON, Nov. 27.
Hon. A- V. Alexander, First Lord of the Admiralty, speaking in tho House -of Commons, said that the late Govermhent, in 1927, agreed to two years’ delay, in the completion of the Singapore base without consulting tho Bom dnipna and colonies.
