An Arab fired three shots but did -.not seriously wound Mr Norman Bentwich, Attorney-General of Palestine, as ho was, leaving his office. Mr Bentwick had received many anonymous threatening letters. The assailant was employed in the public service. He admitted that he had been offered £IOO to shoot Mr Bentwieh.
