The Levin Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday was very successful financially, as' both the attendance and the totalisator investments showed an increase on those at last year’s gathering. The aggregate amount put through the totalisator was £lß,34l—an increase of £2075 on the corresponding figures for 1928. In the gate receipts there was a rise of £3l 7s, the amount this year being £352 14s.
