Winning Owners,
As the result of the double success of Barometer in the Marton Handicap and the Heaton Park Handicap, on the respective days, his owners, Messrs Roulston Bros., of Pukekohe, jvvere gambled to head the winning owners'' list, their stake winnings amounting tp £205, while another double winner in Full Mark brought to his owner, Mr. E. Foreman, of Wairarapa, the sum of £205. There was a sharp drop thereafter, the Auckland sportsman, Mr.' F. Earle, being, next in order with £l3O from the victory of Eaglet -in the open sprint on the opening day. First and second placings by Lady day brought in £.120 to Mr. H. L. 'Kingan, while lesser winners were as under:—Messrs Brown and Knee-bone, C. T. Keeble, L. 8. Smith and V. Riddiford £llO each; Mr. F. X Atfield £lO5, Messrs J. R. Northcott and C. F. Successful Trainers. Onlv two mentors had the satisfaction of saddling up more than the one winner during the course of the two days. W. Townsend, of Pukekohe, winning twice with Barometer, while G. Neich, of Clareville, likewise scored twice with Full Mark. Single points were credited to G. W. New (Lucre), R. E. Hatch (Askari), F. J. Atfield (Desert Lad) and Mrs. A.
