NEW ZEALAND LOAN AND MERCANTILE AGENCY. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency,- Co., Ltd., report, that at the Levin yards on Tuesday, July 23rd, they offered to a good attendance, of buyers a medium yarding of sheep, cattle" and pigs. All lines met with good competition and a total clearance was made under the hammer at the following prices:— Sheep. —Fat ewes and wethers 325; fat Roniney hoggets 28s 3d to 35s 6d, fat b.f. hoggets 24s to 28s 3d, b.f. store wethers 28s, Eomney wether hoggets 25s Id, aged ewes in lamb to S.D. 10s 9d to 26s 6d, forward condition ewes 22s (id. Cattle. —Prime fat heifers £ll,"medium fat cows £8 ss, forward condition cows £4 10s to £4 17s 6(1, store cows £3 2s 6d to £4, medium dairy cows £9 to £lO ss, heifers in calf (late) £7 to £7 ss, Jersey weanev heifers £4 to £5 2s od.
Pigs.—Porkers £2 to £3, good stores 25s to 31s 6d, medium stores 18s to 22s (id, slips 14s 'to 17s, sows in pig £ls 15s to £3 15s, choppers £2.
