FOOTBALL.
BEBBINGTON SHIELD GAMES. Mr J. Casey has received a letter from the Dannevirke Rugby Union advising that though they had accepted Saturday, .6th July, as the date for ths Bebbiis'gtom Shield match at Levitt, they now find they are unable to go on with the challenge this year. The Bush Union has also written stating that Saturday, July ,27th, is not acceptable to them for their Bobbington Shield game, and they suggest the game being played on Wednesday, July 31st.
