ORDER OF THANKSGIVING FOR KING’S RESTORATION
SEE VICE ON JULY 7. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. LONDON, June 22. The order of service of thanksgiving to bp held on July 7 and used ihrougaout the country will bo “in thanksgiving to Almighty God for His good providence, by which our most gracious Sovereign has been delivered from his .severe illness to the comfort of the whole realm and for the signal love and loyalty his people made manifest in Ins time of trouble.' 7 The Primate will olHciafe at the Abbey service. The congregation will sing the hymn “All people that on cart!) do dwell.” To the hi vocation “God save King, God save the realm. God give us thankful hearts” the congregation will reply with the singing 01. the lirst verse of the National .Anthem. Special passages have been selected from ‘the pnalms and Isaiah for expressions of thanksgivings, after which the Primate will say prayers of thankfulness for the King’s recovery and “gifts of strength and courage to the Queen.” Players for the sick "and suffering generally and the Empire will follow. The To Deuni will be followed by the Primate pronouncing the Benediction.
Their Majesties will depart while the congregation sings Flakes hymn “I will not Gease from the Menial Fight.”
