EIGHT N.S.W. PLAYERS BITTEN IN QUEENSLAND. BRISBANE, June 23. Fifteen thousand'people were present at the Rugby League match yesterday when New South Wales defeated Queensland by 16 points to 14. (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. As a sequel to the Rugby League match on Saturday, the New' South Wales selectors have wired to Sydney for a player in place of Justice, centre forward, who besides a dislocation of the finger has a poisoned hand. Distinct teeth marks can be seen on eight of the thirteen men who were injured in the game, which was the roughest witnessed for many years. Kicking in the scrums was frequent.
