LEVIN METHODIST CHURCH.
LADIES’ GUILD. The first meeting of the year of the Levin Methodist Ladies’ Guild was held in the Century Hall on Thursday last. Mrs Pirani presided, and a goodly number of members was present. The initial arrangements were made for a garden party to be held on March (ith. A very interesting letter was read from Miss Vivian Adkin, who is a inissinarji sister in the Solomons, thanking all those who kindly helped with the missionary box that was packed and sent to her for Christmas by the ladies of the Guild. She also gave a brief outline of her life and work among the natives. She states that she is quite happy, although she has still a warm place in her heart for “good old Levin.”
