NEW NAVAL PROGRAMME.
LITTLE VARIATION SHOWN.
JBy Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright.) (Received-This Day, 8.55 a.m.) v LONDON, Jan. 19.
The Daily Telegraph says the Navy estimates for 1929-30 are settled. The outlines --show little variations. The 300 for the current year's programme sum of £57,300,000 for the current year's programme includes one 10,000 and two 8400 ton •cruisers* ono flotilla leader, eight destroyers, six submarines. The introduction of another long term programme is not likely in view of the possible reductions resulting from the 1031 Washington Conference. Naval circles do not anticipate further cuts as the current five year (programme is already reduced by three large, cruisers.
