NAPIER WOOL SALES.
HOGGETS REACH 21*. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, This Day. The third Napier wool sale opened this morning, before a full bench of buyers and with a catalogue of 30,000 bales. Up to lunch-time the market was firm and price* were on recent lines. English and French buyers operated for the better-class wools, and Continental and New Zealand mills bought the poorer wools. Prices generally were as follows: — Crossbreds, 13d to 20d. Halfbreds, 19d to 20Jd. •Hoggets, 16d to 21d. Pieces, lid to 19d. Bellies, 9d to 12$d. Lambe, 16d to 21d.
