THREE NOW DEAD.
RESULT OF HOROTIU LEVELCROSSING SMASH. TWO OTHERS IN SERIOUS CONDITION. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) HAMILTON, This Day. (Following upon the liorotiu levelcrossing accident, in connection with which Sirs Alice Armstrong was killed instantly, and Miss Violet Howso died on the way to hospital, Mrs Lindsay Attdcrsou (25), of Auckland, succumbed this morning to 'her injuries. Mrs Anderson’s name was previously given incorrectly as Miss Howse. The other injured persons are Alexander Armstrong and Miss Milly Armstrong, and they are in a serious condition. CARS COLLIDE. FOUR PERSONS INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association). HOKITIKA, This Day. A collision between two cars at two o’clock on New Year’s morning, at a .street intersection!, iresultacl in 'both cars being considerably damaged and four occupants of one car injured, Pearl Olsen receiving concussion, Albert Williams a broken collarbone, and the others 'severe shock.
Both drivers were uninjured
