CHARGES UNDER THE GAMING ACT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The house of Patrick Walsh, in Hills Road, -was visited by the police, and as a result Walsh. Rcbcrt Michael Cox and Albert Khouri were, arrested. Walsh and- Cox were charged with being bookmakers. Walsh was also charged with keeping a common gam-ing-house, and "Cox was charged with assisting him. Both were remanded until January Bth, bail of £IOO being allowed.
" Khouri was charged with being found without lawful, excuse on the premises of a common gaming-house. He was remanded until - January Bth, and was allowed bail of £5. As the result of another raid, Robert James Watson Mitchell and his ■wife, Mary Mitchell, were charged with keeping a common gaming-house. They were remanded until January Bth, bail being allowed.
