EXPLOSIONS RENDER FIREMEN’S WORK HAZARDOUS. (By Telegraph—PrSs Association). AUCKLAND, This Day. ■- A fire at Papatoetoe early this morning destroyed the motor garage of S. A. Mephan. The explosion of oil iu drums made the firemen’s work dangerous, but • they saved a billiard saloon behind the* garage, and also adjoining property. The' insurance ou the property destroyed totalled £IOOO.
