NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. is. hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the llokio Drainage Board hold on Monday, the 23rd day of July, 1928, the following resolution Avas passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the Board to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 22nd day of August, 1928, at 7.30 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Bath Street., Levin! RESOLUTION: That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 52 of "The Local Legislation Act, 1926," "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926" and "The Land Drainage Act, 1908," and all other poA-vers and authorities it thereunto enabling The Hokio Drainage Board hereby resolves by Avay of and as a special order:— That for the purpose of repaying the overdraft as authorised under Section 52 of "The Local Legislation Act, 1926," The Hokio Drainage Board hereby authorises the raising of a loan of One thousand Pounds (£1000) bearing interest at the rate of six pounds (£6) per centum per annum for a period of ten years and that repayment of the said loan be made by annual instalments of principal of not less than one hundred pounds (£100) per annum and that the security for the payment of the interest and such annual instalments in respect of the said loan be a special rate of one penny and three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in The Hokio Drainage District classified as Class A in the classification list and a special rate of one penny and nine thirty-seconds of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in The Hokio Drainage District classified as Class B in the classification list and a special rate of nineteen thirty-seconds of a penny-in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. piJBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that nt a Special Meeting of the Horowhenua Countv Council held on SATURDAY, the 31th flay of August, 1028, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the next ordinary meeting of the Council to be held' on SATURDAY, the Bth day of September, 1928, at 0.30 a.m. at the Council Chambers,. Bath Street, Levin. RESOLUTION. Pursuant to Section 152 of "The Counties' Act, 1920," the Horowhenua County Council,-being of opinion that the lands purchased or acquired by it for obtaining road metal, and described in the Schedule hereto, are no longer required for the purposes of the County of Horowhenua, hereby resolves, by way of special order, that the said lands shall bo sold in such manner, for such sum, and on such conditions as the said Council thinks fit. All that parcel of land containing one acre more or less, situate in Bloc IV of the Waitohu Survey District, and being part of Section ISB of Subdivision 2(5 of Ohau No. 3 Block (Certificate of Title Vol. 388 Polio 44).
