SILKWOOD MURDER.
man arrested says he is new ZEALANDER. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright.) Received This Day 10.35 a.m. BRISBANE, May 23. The police at Silkwood, near Innisfail, have arrested a wood-cutter on a charge of the murder of the Chinese storekeeper Young Kec and his son Willie Cheong, aged 13, who were found with their heads battered, lying in a litter of wrecked furniture in their premises. The arrested man stated that he is a New Zealander. His name has not been disclosed.
