The Madrid correspondent of The Times says that a youth in the village of Pasanaut, in the province of Tarragon, ■ induced children to come to the fields to watch pigeon shooting. He then shot seven children dead with a double-barrelled shot-gun, and killed eight en route to the village, where he shot a,woman dead and wounded another and slew her with air axe. He wounded five more, and fled, pursued by police. He has not been captured.
