LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
The weekly Levin stock ’ale was held on Tuesday, when there was a good attendance of the public, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having offered a fairly good entry of cattle and small yardings of sheep and pigs. They, quote sales a^tthe following prices:— Sheep.—Fat ewes. 20s, lambs 19s, ewes in lamb to Southdowns • 18s Id, two-tooth wethers 225. Cattle.—Fat cows ,£4 10s to £5 10s, forward cows £4 10s to £4 15s, cows and calves £5 7s 6d, cows in calf £4 19s, empty cows £5 14s, store cows £3 to £3 12s* 6d, steers £3 16s, springing cows £9 5s to £lO. Pigs. —Slips 7s to 10s, weaners 11s 6d to 13s 6d, light porkers 36s to 38s, medium porkers £2 19s.
