FEATURE OF LABOUR CHAIRMAN'S SPEECH.
' (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright.) (Received This Day, 1.25 a.m.) LONDON, October 2. At the Labour Party's annual conference, opening to-morrow at Blackpool, the address of the chairman, Mr ; F. Roberta, M.P., will denounce the •undermining influence of the mitiority movement, which has endeavoured tc •destroy confidence in responsible leadership and intrigued energetically, to •sow discord throughout the trade unions. To-day, however, the industrial movement is solidly behind the political movement and neither will allow itself to be destroyed by enemies either within or without the gates. The Governrment's fdreign policy is characterised .as one of dismal failure. The hypocritical" attitude towards Russia had lowered the dignity of the British Empire. The British policy in China was alternately one of bullying and of using ■soft words. Sir Austen Chamberlain had placed Britain in a position of l moial isolation on the "League of Nations, which i? the only secure foundation for world peace.
