YOUR DANCE FROCKS
For evening wear chiffon, tulle and lace are produced in colours like ripe melons or bananas, and also in a rich maize tint. They have to.be seen before their full beauty c-an be believed, but you will bo perfectly safe in selecting a dance dress in maize coloured lino laco over a slip of satin in the same shade. Ever so simple this dress must be; trimmings Avould disturb the graceful cascades, which must fall down each side to give the uneven hem-line, which is the dernier cri in evening modes.
Filmy white or pastel tinted chiffon makes charming frocks for the debutante, while her older sister may indulge in black lace, or in white moire with a very deep hem of black lace—this, by the way, being even more charming in reality than it sounds. Taffetas is still popular, especially for the ' period ’ gown, and, for more classic styles, soft moire and satin have their own places in the sun.
