BASKET BALL
The Levin Methodist Church Basket ball team journeyed to Wellington on Friday evening and participated in a game with Nauinai loam on Saturday," the match raking -lace on the Newtown sclioolground. The Levin team played a very good game, but the home team outclassed the visitors, winning by 28 to 4.
The Levin girls were royally entertained at a social on Saturday evening, having games, competitions, and other items. They returned home on Sunday morning, travelling to Otaki by train and thence by motor cars to Levin. Mrs W. Plaster was in charge of the team and found it a pleasure to travel with them.
