BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIP.
AUSTRALIAN TEAM ARRIVES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 4. A team of Australian bowlers to compete in the Dominion championships next week, irrived by the Marama this morning. Mr W. Swain, skip, stated that the rink consisted of essentially fast, green players and he realised there may be a considerable differenc between Auckland and Melbourne turf. Mr Swain is the winner of twelve club championships and two years ago was runner-up for the Australian title.
