WELLINGTON, Last Night. In view of the approach of the Plunket Shield matches and the English trip, considerable interest is being manifested in the Town v. Country fixture which commenced on the Basin Reserve this morning. A fast wicket and outfield favoured the batsmen. The team s were as under:— Country: T. H. Lowry, captain, R. de R.
