DOBSON DISASTER.
SUBSCRIPTION LIST OPENED.
The Town Clerk of Levin (Mr H. L. Jenkins) has received a communication from the Town Clerk of Greymouth soliciting help for the Dobson Coalmine Disaster Relief Fund. A commit-
tee has been set up in the Grey district to organise the fund, and steps will be taken to appoint permanent trustees to administer it. A subscription list has been opened at the Levin Borough Council office, and there is a supplementary list at the ‘‘Chronicle” office. The following donations are gratefully acknowledged:—
