BUY BRITISH GOODS.
(To the Editor). Sir, —At last meeting of the Horowlienua E.P. Beard 1 noticed that the purchase of a foreign made car was recommended. Noav, Sir, the individual may piea.se himself, out i must enter my protest against the llorowhen.ua E.P. Board buying the foreign-made article because the majority of the people in this district are British and loyal and the Board’s purchases are made with British money. If Mr Barber and Mr Vincent have no stronger arguments to back their views than those disclosed in your report of the Board’s last meeting I think it is time- they took stock. —I am, etc., J. 8., JUNIOR.
