4 TO-NIGHT,'AND TO-MORROW. In making “The Way of a Girl." the Metro-Goldwyn picture to he screened at the He Luxe Theatre tonight and to-morrow. Hie director 1!. G. Vignola, was forced to stage an avalanche, which traps Matt Moure and Eleanor Boardmau in a cave. The set for the cave scenes was built at®the studio and eventually came the problem of the “avalanche.” Vignola hit upon the idea which was carried out in the following manner. Almost ten tons of earth was placed in a big receptacle above the entrance to the cave. This had to be carted up in wheel-harrows by workmen. The big bunker in which it was placed had to be evenly balanced so that it would lip easily. Everything was set and at a given word from Vignola pressure was applied to the earth tip. Down thundered the avalanche, the cave was blocked, and the hero and heroine were satisfactorily trapped I
